UMID LOGIN FOR RAILWAY MEDICAL CARD
Have you heard of the term UMID? UMID stands for ‘Unique Medical Identity Card‘. This is a medical card that gives medical benefits to the citizens of India like pensioners, employees, dependents, etc.

WHAT IS THE ELIGIBILITY FOR AVAILING OF THE UMID CARD?
By default, those, who are pensioners, employees, dependents of them, porters, coolies, etc., and all those who are working in the Railway organization can avail of the UMID card.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE UMID CARD?
The registration process for the UMID card is quite simple. One needs to follow just three simple steps –
1. Visit the UMID website . If you want to register on the App, instead of the website, you can do so easily.
2. Now, you need to choose the type of beneficiary. It can be pensioners, employees, or dependents. You will also be asked about your Identity particulars like DOB, PF, PAN number, etc.
3. Fill out the UMID Application. The UMID Application can be started and used by following the steps discussed below –
(i) First, you will receive an OTP on your mobile number, Use that OTP for the Login.
(ii) Start/Initiate New Application.
(iii) Now, fill in your self details and the details of your family members.
(iv) In the last stage, you need to upload the relevant documents.

Limited documents are needed for getting the UMID cards –
1. Photo of the employee.
2. Photos of the dependents of employees.
3. Signature of the employee.
4. ID proof of all the dependents of the employee.
