RCH portal – DATA entry online login and registration
RCH stands for “Reproductive and Child Health“. This portal is supported by the Department of Health and Family Welfare. RCH portal is a big step in identifying and early tracking the reproductive lifecycle, and it deals with the monitoring and support for reproducing women, new-borns, child health, and maternal health.
This portal has been created with the objective of information and data entry and retrieving, registration, and report generation. The official link of the portal is rch.nhm.gov.in. The portal was launched on 15 October 1997. It identifies and tracks the beneficiaries during the pregnancy of women. Apart from it, it also monitors, promotes, and supports maternal, natal, and postnatal health and health schemes.
Benefits of RCH Portal: –
- All the information related to child health, maternal health, family planning, etc. is available on the portal. Together with it, vaccination details are also available.
- It will be beneficial for reducing the national mortality rate (infant and maternal).

What type of Data Entry is there on the RCH Portal?
The RCH portal provides varied entry details for the beneficiaries, such as –
- Profile entry

Process of Self Registration on RCH Portal: –
- First, visit the official portal : rch.nhm.gov.in/RCH/
- At the bottom of the page, you will find a highlighted option ‘Self Registration’.
- You will be able to see a new window after that. There will be two partitions on it. First for registering as a pregnant woman and second to register the newborn child. Click, the option as per your choice.
- Irrespective of your choice, you need to fill in all the details asked.
- After filling in all the information, just click on the ‘Save’ button present at the bottom of the page.
- Your registration process is complete after that.
Login Process for RCH Portal: –
- Visit the official portal of the RCH.
- Search for the ‘Data Entry’ option on the homepage, and click on it.
- It will now ask you to Login on to the page that appears. First, select the state.
- Now, at the bottom, enter your username and password.
- At last, enter the Captcha code and click on the ‘Login’ tab.
- If the details are correct, you will be instantly able to log in.
Mother Data Entry process at Reproductive Child Health (Rch)Portal: –
- Visit the official portal of the RCH.
- Login to the portal according to the process discussed above.
- After ‘Login’, search for the option ‘Data Entry’, present on the window’s top menu and click on it.
- Once you do that, you will be able to see an option of ‘Pregnant Woman Entry’, click on that.
- A new page will now appear, click on the ‘Add New Entry’ option.
- Fill in all the details of the pregnant woman correctly and then click the ‘Submit’ tab.
New Born Child Entry process on RCH Portal: –
- Visit the official portal of the RCH.
- Login to the portal according to the process discussed above.
- After ‘Login’, search for the option ‘Data Entry’, present on the window’s top menu and click on it.
- Once you do that, you will be able to see an option of ‘Child Entry’, click on that.
- A new page will now appear, click on the ‘New Entry’ option.
Fill in all the details asked on the page, such as – Child’s gender, serial no., mother’s name, father’s name, mobile number, name of the child, etc., and then click the ‘Save’ tab.
